DrFunkenstein has been posting the imppressive video lists for a bit now.I ordered one of his Tony Williams compilations.WOW!!!!!!This is just an open THANK YOU to Dr.FNS.He filled my order quickly,i only waited a week or so.So if u have seen those lists and saw something u liked,do yerself a favour and grab it.Tony is my all time favourite drummer,and it was very special to have all this rare footage available.The tape features skinny 17 yearold Tony all the way to fat Tony(with the yellow DW kit).Such an education watching this tape over&over&over&over again.In fact my wife is getting pissed cuz im watching it so much!THANK-YOU DR.FNS i really cant express to u how happy i am with the tape.............muchos love and respect...................beats.........

Thats great beatz! BTW i noticed your from Vancouver B.C. and i was wondering if you caught Jack dejhonette at the International Jazz Festival (or anybody else)?

I unfortunately missed Jack,twice in one year;no $$,and i was away the other time.I am in deep regret in missing Keith Jarret.I even missed Elvin in Seattle sometime in early 2002.Have u ever seen Dejohnette play live jesse?In the 2001 Jazzfest here,i saw the almighty Roy Haynes!My teacher Ray met him.Said he was tiny and super-smooth.The show was one of the best ive ever seen.Ungodly drumming.Everyone comments on Vinnie's command of time,but Mr.Haynes invented metric modulation,and he just weaves beautifully thru odd jazz times.I would love the opportunity to meet or see whats left of the old jazz masters.Those guys possess supreme knowledge.ramble ramble................beats.........

thanks for the kind words, bro. when i made that tape for myself nearly 2 years ago, i never tought it would have legs or a life of its own. i just put it together for me and my freinds. ebay was a fluke, and i didnt know places like HOD existed. please share the video with anyone you can. Keep an eye out for stuff we havent seen yet!
